Neil is the CEO of SLR Group with responsibility for all international operations. His key role is to provide leadership, support and direction for SLR’s strategic growth across the global business. Prior to being CEO Neil has been Managing Director of the African, Australasian and European operations (2009 - 2013), and before then SLR’s UK Managing Director (2001-2009).
Prior to joining SLR in 1995, Neil held consultancy roles with major international consultancies such as Rust Environmental (now Parsons Brinckerhoff) and Dames & Moore International (now URS). Neil qualified as a mining engineer and has more than 30 years experience in international environmental consultancy.
Dianne BuchananCFO Close
Dianne is CFO of SLR Management Ltd. and has responsibility for all financial and commercial matters across the business. Dianne joined the SLR board in August 2016 from Mindshare, the media investment arm of WPP Plc, where she was the CFO for the Europe, Middle East & Africa region. Before Mindshare, Dianne worked for the market research company Synovate, J Sainsbury's and Coca Cola, having previously obtained her chartered accountancy qualification with PwC.
Kevin RattueExecutive Director Close
Kevin is responsible for the Americas and serves as Chairman of SLR International Corporation in the US and President of SLR Consulting (Canada) Limited as well as being an Executive Director of SLR Management Limited. Prior to joining SLR in 2000, Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer of SECOR International, a $100m turnover international environmental consultancy with its head office in Seattle. Previously Kevin worked as an exploration geologist for a French consulting firm in India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and the Middle East.
Kevin has over 30 years of experience with environmental consultancies and oil exploration companies and holds an MBA (International Business) and M.Sc. (Hydrogeology) from the University of Birmingham. He is a registered geologist, licensed hydrogeologist and serves as a Director of the British-American Business Council (Pacific Northwest).
Peter MacKellarExecutive Director Close
Peter joined the Board of SLR Management Limited in January 2015 as Executive Director with responsibility for all international operations outside of the Americas (UK, Ireland, France, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the Far East).
Peter worked previously for Rust Consulting and since 1999 for Sinclair Knight Merz (“SKM”). Originally Peter held senior roles in SKM’s Australasian operations, but since 2004 he was Chief Operating Officer, Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Following SKM’s acquisition by Jacobs Engineering he was Manager of the legacy SKM EMEA Water & Environment and Mining & Metals businesses.
Peter gained a civil and structural engineering honours degree at Sheffield University, holds a diploma with distinction in engineering management from Bristol University and is a graduate of Insead Business School in France.
Graham LoveNon-Executive Chairman Close
Graham joined the Board of SLR Management Limited in 2012. He was formerly Chief Executive of QinetiQ, a position he held from 2005 to 2009, having joined the company in 2001. He is on the Board of STEMNET (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network), the Advisory Board of SEMTA (Sector Skills Council for Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies) and is a Principal at the Chertoff Group (a strategic advisory group focused on security, intelligence and government services).
Graham is also chairman of LGC, Racing Green Cars, Eversholt Rail Group.
Peter WilsonNon-Executive Director Close
Pete is a Director within 3i’s Private Equity Business and leads 3i’s activities in the business services sector. He has been at 3i since 2006 and has been involved in a number of transactions, particularly within business services, during that time. Prior to 3i, he worked in strategy consulting at Accenture.
Recent transactions and board positions other than SLR include Civica, the international software and services provider, Inspectorate, a leading global provider of testing and inspection services to the commodities sector and ESG, a UK based provider of environmental testing, inspection and certification.
John Crabtree OBENon-Executive Director Close
John joined the board of SLR management Limited in 2004. He was formerly the senior partner at Birmingham-based corporate law firm Wragge & Co, where he led the growth of the practice from a turnover of £15.7 million to a £77.8 million turnover, international business with 110 partners.
John is also non-executive Chairman of Real Estate Investors Plc, Sense and the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust. He is also Chairman of Staffline Group Plc.
Mick CookNon-Executive Director Close
Mick joined the Board of SLR Management Limited in October 2011. Mick has worked in the Energy Sector for more than 30 years and spent much of that time being responsible for growing Hydrosearch from an embryonic consultancy into one of the leading geosciences and HSE consultancies in the world.
In 2003, Hydrosearch was acquired by the RPS Group to form its nascent Energy Division and Mick was appointed Managing Director – Operations, helping to grow and develop the Division significantly over the next five years through a combination of an active acquisition strategy and subsequent organic growth. In 2008, Mick left RPS to provide commercial and business advice to consultancies in the Energy Sector.
Mick is the founding Chairman of the International Energy Consultants Organisation (IECO) and has an MSc in Marine Geophysics, Geotechnics and Oceanography from Bangor University.
