Werner is the Sector Leader for Power at the SLR’s African Operations based in Namibia. Following a three year start as a civil engineer, Werner has gained more than 16 years' of experience within a wide range of environmental disciplines. These include: environmental assessments, environmental management and implementation including systems, waste management, environmental compliance and auditing, training, stakeholder engagement and capacity building, mine closure and rehabilitation as well as due diligence He has worked across a number of sectors, including mining, power, industry and infrastructure..
Werner has historically worked for industry before becoming an environmental consultant.

Peter’s experience spans a broad range of environmental (acoustics, air quality, ESD and energy efficiency, planning) and engineering (civil and structural) fields as well as climate and insurance risk assessments. Peter has worked on relevant sector projects in North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Richard Johnson is the Director of the Power Sector in Canada and the Chief Operating Officer of SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd. Richard has over 24 years’ experience in power generation and transmission consulting and has been client manager for projects ranging from feasibility studies, environmental impact assessment, planning, licensing/permitting, design, contract preparation, procurement and construction management consultation.

Mark has 20 years’ experience within environmental consultancy and regulatory agencies. His focus is on the co-ordination, delivery and project direction of major infrastructure consenting projects including NSIPs, with a principal focus on the power industry. Mark has led and directed numerous power development consenting and due diligence projects for wind farms, CCGT and biomass power stations, and electricity transmission.
