The role: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Land Quality & Remediation Consultant to join and grow a great business in Sydney. We are looking for principal consultant to join our business and we offer the opportunity to develop your career with a strong organisation, with leading expertise and flexible working. 

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders across the region. You will also work hand in hand with the Office Manager and Technical Discipline Manager on continuing to grow the discipline within NSW across a range of sectors. It will also provide you with the opportunity to further expand your experience within the Land Contamination field and build on your project management and team leadership skills.

Articulate, motivated and reliable. You will have a minimum of 10 years industry experience in Australia and have a strong aptitude for Business Development and Client Relationships. A self-starter and proven team leader you will enjoy undertaking project work whilst building and developing client relationships throughout the Region. You will also collaborate on projects and initiatives with the national Land & Water Group and the other teams within our multi-disciplinary business.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Masters desirable) and

  • High level Technical Expertise in contamination management

  • Team building experience

  • Direct client relationships

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of the contaminated land industry in NSW as a minimum

  • Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy

  • Collaborative, innovative and flexible approach

  • Dynamic and creative management style

  • Good sense of humour
