We currently have a position available for a Project Consultant to join our growing Acoustics team in Auckland. In particular, we are looking for candidates with up to 3 years’ experience, who have a passion for Acoustics, are looking to take their career to the next level. Our projects encompass a wide range of environmental and building acoustics from small to large providing the successful candidate the opportunity to work on exciting and varied noise and vibration projects and significantly expand their experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide variety of technical assessments and will require a broad knowledge and understanding of engineering methods and techniques to solve problems. You will also carry out technical tasks which will require confidence and accuracy in undertaking calculations and adhering to prescribed testing analysis, design and computing methods. You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal which will be further fostered by supportive team members.
Our ideal candidate has a willingness to challenge their capabilities and be an innovative thinker. You will also have a relevant Bachelor degree. Proficiency with Excel and Word software is a must. Capability and experience with SoundPLAN, GIS, noise and vibration monitoring and prediction would be favourable.
