We are delighted to announce that Carolyn Carruthers has joined SLR as the Power/Renewables Regulatory Lead in the Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) team.

Carolyn will work with the SLR team to develop and implement business development strategies to expand our regulatory services and enhance SLR’s marketplace presence and client portfolio in Western Canada.

Carolyn brings over 20 years of experience conducting, leading, and advising on international, federal, provincial, and municipal environmental and noise assessments for the energy industry. She has extensive knowledge in navigating regulatory approvals, air quality assessments, noise impact assessments, Canadian environmental policy, onshore and offshore environmental and social impact assessments, and environmental compliance.

Previously, Carolyn’s environmental regulatory experience supported a leading provider of electricity. Carolyn is “excited for the opportunity to support the electricity industry in Western Canada through SLR Consulting. Coming back to consulting brings exciting challenges, which I am looking forward to solving!”
