    Mark Hoff

    Mark is a senior business leader in the ESG advisory services industry with more than 20 years in the advisory sector, working with industrial and financial sector clients across their value chains in Europe, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Most recently he has led projects on sustainability strategy, ESG signals, and ratings and disclosure. Mark has supported clients on their sustainability transition journey, developed corporate responsibility and responsible sourcing programmes throughout the battery materials and plastics value chains, and developed tools and capacity building programmes for senior leadership training and post-merger integration.

  • Sam Gill Principal Climate Change Consultant
    Sam Gill

    Sam is part of the Global Climate Change team at SLR. He works with clients to assist them in understanding the risks and opportunities associated with climate change, as well as to provide strategic advice on Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) reporting requirements.

    After beginning his career at Google, Sam held the position of CEO at Engaged Tracking Foundation - a not-for-profit organisation which ranked the world’s largest companies by greenhouse gas emissions. He subsequently, co-founded Engaged Tracking, an advisory firm providing carbon emissions data and climate risk analytics to the financial services industry. During his time at Engaged Tracking, Sam worked with institutional investors to help them identify, understand and manage their climate risk exposure.

    Abby Davidson

    Abby brings nearly 2 decades advising Fortune 1000 companies to develop and implement sustainable and responsible business strategies, strategic partnerships, and organisational change initiatives to deliver long-term value for clients and their stakeholders. She has worked across industries, with depth in healthcare, food and agribusiness, financial services, and consumer products, and specialises in embedding sustainability strategy across environmental, social and governance issues in C-level led, enterprise-wide planning and execution.

    Her experience includes materiality and ESG strategy with Abbott, Tyson Foods, Fresh Del Monte, and Petco; First Republic Bank’s climate targets and risk management aligned to TCFD and regulatory requirements; identifying and managing ESG issues in upstream agriculture sourcing (on-farm and in factories) across Asia, Africa and the Middle East with PepsiCo, Mars, and McCormick; and investor facing ESG ratings, rankings and disclosures across clients. She previously co-created and led CARE Consulting, the consulting arm of CARE. She also brings experience consulting to companies on ethics and compliance. Abby began her career on Capitol Hill in the office of U.S. Congressman Sander Levin. Abby holds a BA from Brown University, an MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, and an MA from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
