SLR is picking up good vibrations
SLR Consulting is monitoring the construction work being carried out on a new commercial building, at 79-83 Oxford Street, London. SLR’s team of Acoustics, Noise & Vibration specialists is helping to reduce the potential risk of any structural damage to buildings adjacent to this site. They are doing this through the use of a coordinated INFRA system, which is monitoring dust, noise and vibration levels of the work.
This project was recently showcased online and the article discussed the sensitive environment of the project, which is retaining the listed façade of the building and is located on one of the busiest shopping streets in the world. It also discussed the unique methodology SLR has employed to carry out the work, by using a single coordinated system to measure the levels of dust, noise, vibrations and even local weather conditions at the site.
SLR is able to offer a broad range of services in this field and has a wealth of experience in both acoustics and in noise and vibration control measures.
