SLR is pleased to have been awarded a position on the ESPO (Eastern
Shires Purchasing Organisation) 664 Consultancy Services framework (https://www.espo.org/Framework...). In particular, we have been awarded a position
to provide consultancy in the following areas:
Lot 8d Health & Safety
Lot 8f Planning, Valuation and Structure
Lot 8h Waste and Recycling
These services will be provided in partnership with Anthesis UK, a
specialist in global consultancy.
Now that the standstill period has concluded and the framework has commenced, ESPO has confirmed that SLR and Anthesis have been included on the framework for the above consultancy services, with assurance that such services would be delivered and performed to a satisfactory standard.
The framework commenced on 19th April 2017 and will be in place for an initial two year period until 18th April 2019, with the option for ESPO to extend for a further two years until 18th April 2021.
ESPO is a non-profit purchasing organisation that operates throughout the UK, jointly owned by six local authorities; Cambridgeshire County Council, Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Norfolk County Council, Peterborough City Council, and Warwickshire County Council. ESPO’s key objective is to help Public Bodies throughout the UK achieve optimum value for money when buying goods and services.
This is a significant platform to market SLR’s and Anthesis services as many authorities are included on the framework, and authorities not currently on the framework are able to tender for work through it also. For our prospective clients, this allows them a direct view of a competitive set of tenders with a select list of experienced consultants. With no need to select tenderers it is a quick and economic tender process, benefitting everyone involved.
About Anthesis SLR’s partner for the Framework, Anthesis is a specialist global consultancy, developing financially driven sustainability strategies which are underpinned by technical expertise. Incorporating resource efficiency through circular economy business models, supply chain analysis in the waste and energy sectors. Anthesis unique approach allows them to not only develop solutions for clients but act as a delivery partner too, combining the reach of large consultancies with the deep expertise of our practice leaders from across the globe
