SLR Expands Engineering Capability in APAC
SLR has recently expanded its Engineering capability with the appointment of Peter Cupitt as Principal Water/Wastewater Engineer. Peter joins former colleague Paul Delaney in the Civil and Structural Engineering team based from the company’s Newcastle premises.
Specialising in water and sewer infrastructure, Peter’s experience extends to hydrologic and hydraulic modelling of the rainfall/runoff process for a range of applications including dam design/failure, evacuation strategies, flood management, damage estimation, economic appraisal of mitigation alternatives, design and construction of flood mitigation structures, erosion protection and treatment of stormwater flows.
Peter joins SLR having held various positions for local and foreign water authorities and water specialist companies for the past three decades. His well-rounded experience in the water industry has enabled him to be involved in the design and construction of most facets of the water industry from conceptualisation, problem solving, adaptation, performance enhancement, detailed design to construction. Peter is also an accredited Water Services Association Australia water and sewer designer.
