Biography
Qualified as a comprehensive engineer in France with an additional MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the UK, Isabelle’s several experiences in the Offshore Energy sector confronted her with the multiple facets of this exciting industry.
She was trained during her first job as a design engineer at Technip not only to the Offshore Oil and Gas challenges, but also to the necessary professional thoroughness in a highly constrained and standardised environment. She was able afterwards to use her experience to work on projects related to Marine Renewable Energies - wind power in particular – first as a research engineer and then as a Group Leader at SuperGrid Institute within the Cables’ Department. She quickly expanded her responsibilities to subjects further from her initial training - such as electrical engineering - and was involved, as the projects progressed, in the development of the institute's activities.
Isabelle recently moved from France to join SLR as a Principal Cable Engineer to head up the Cables Team.
