Phillip Robinson

Biography

Phillip is a Principal Grid Engineer at SLR, after finishing his thesis on Energy Management he began a ten year stint at NGED (formally WPD), beginning in network analysis and reporting, before moving into Extra High Voltage (EHV) connection project management, and finally Electrical Substation Engineering Design.

This has given Phil thorough experience in the challenges that the electricity network is facing, along with the specific requirements that generation customers need to comply with to connect to the EHV network. For the last two years with SLR Phil has acted as technical lead for developing generation projects and Technical Due Diligence for acquisition development portfolios.
