Tom Speirs

Biography

Tom Speirs has thirty-seven years of experience in the fields of engineering geology, geotechnical and materials engineering. He has undertaken geotechnical, geological and materials investigations throughout Southern Africa, as well as in other parts of Africa. His main fields of expertise include infrastructure geotechnical investigations, roads, rail, dams, foundations, identification of construction material sources, slope stability, engineering geological and geotechnical land utilisation mapping.
