Challenge
The 15,750 m2 North Shore Health Hub (Hub) will bring experience to the forefront of health workplaces, catering to the needs of patients and practitioners alike. The Hub is set up with a series of tenancy options for a range of service providers such as specialist rooms, medical suites, day surgery, physiotherapy, dentistry, allied health, research/education and medical centres.
Solution
A key part of SLR’s appointment was to work with the project team and establish suitable and pragmatic acoustic performance criteria to cater to a range of medical tenancies. Once the appropriate criteria was established, we provided design advice and value engineering inputs to develop the project to tender stage.
