Challenge
SLR was commissioned to prepare designs for a residential development at 65 London Road, Edinburgh.
Solution
The proposals significantly improve the site’s existing fragmented edge to London Road and relatively poor existing arrival to the city at this point.
Impact
In tandem with recent new buildings in the vicinity, the project act as a catalyst for further residential development on the south side of London Road and takes cognisance of the masterplan proposals currently underway for Meadowbank Stadium, represents the opportunity to create an exciting new gateway development to the city.
