Mandatory Climate Disclosures in New Zealand: trends and learnings from the first round of reporting
Entering the second half of 2024, the first mandatory disclosures under New Zealand’s Climate-related disclosures (CRD) framework have been released. See our factsheet covering the key elements of the framework.
In alignment with the Financial Markets Authority’s guidance, we’re seeing most organisations taking a learning approach to this year’s disclosures, relying on key adoption provisions which will expire with next year’s reporting cycle.
