Amanda Pierce

Biography

Amanda Pierce has 5+ years of experience as a licensed professional engineer. She has applied her expertise to Water Resources Engineering and project management. Her experience includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, urban stormwater management and planning, levee certification and accreditation, sediment transport, water quality, flood mitigation, and stream restoration.

Amanda has coordinated with federal and local agencies for environmental and regulatory permitting as well as the modeling and design of pressurized water systems and gravity sewer systems. She is proficient in multiple design and modeling software including Civil 3D, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Stormwater Management Model (SWMM), and US Army Corps of Engineers Hydrologic Engineering Center River Analysis System (HEC-RAS).
