John Hunt

Biography

John is based on our Perth office and has 19 years’ experience in water management and engineering. He specialises in urban water and integrated water management including groundwater, stormwater, water efficiency and auditing, water balance modelling, and modelling surface water and rainwater systems.

John is experienced in the delivery of an array of water management plans including Better Urban Water Management documents in line with regulatory requirements including the Draft State Planning Policy 2.9, Australian Rainfall and Runoff, and AS/NZS 1547:2012.

John has worked on a range of non-urban water projects which have included site and soil evaluations for wastewater disposal, water planning for regenerative agriculture, and wastewater management plans and water balances. John is an accredited Water Auditor, and has performed numerous water efficiency audits for both residential and non-residential sites. He is also a regular guest lecturer at Murdoch University, where he lectures on water auditing, as well as rainwater harvesting and water modelling.
