Biography
Niall is an Associate Director based in Manchester with more than 12 years’ experience in highway and infrastructure design, particularly highway schemes delivered under S278 and S38 Agreements and adoptable drainage schemes.
His key areas of work involve managing and coordinating all elements of complex highway infrastructure schemes from feasibility and planning through to completion. Niall has experience with geometric design using several software packages including BIM specific software, preparing construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, tendering highway schemes and liaising with clients and design teams to conclude the design process. Niall is also experienced in liaising with contractors and highway authorities during the construction period in order to resolve technical queries, obtaining relevant permits and licenses and concluding substantial completion sign off.
He has a BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering with Architecture, an MSc in Transport Engineering and Planning and is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
In his spare time, Niall enjoys balancing the gym and football alongside spending time with his young family.
