Steve Mercer

Biography

Steve Mercer is a geotechnical engineer with experience in geotechnical and environmental field exploration, review of subsurface data, site characterization, geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting as well as construction oversight for a variety of projects. His field experience includes the oversight of a wide range of subsurface exploration and field tests as well as observation and documentation of foundation construction and earthwork activities. His experience also includes compiling and processing of large data sets for complex multi-disciplinary projects, research and evaluation of historical site data, organization and analysis of laboratory test results, and geotechnical engineering analysis of slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, lateral earth pressures, and seismic hazards.
