Overview
In the Asia Pacific region, SLR has over forty groundwater specialists with experience navigating complex hydrogeological challenges across the region. We have extensive practical experience in all aspects of hydrogeological site characterisation, as well as utilising industry-standard software, and state-of-the art tools and equipment.
Our team understands the importance of managing groundwater sources sustainably. We are highly experienced in undertaking various scientific studies and investigations to define and understand the groundwater environment to inform on the best strategy and procedures for the problem in hand.
We’re also recognised for our contributions on numerous professional and technical committees for the development and review of technical guidance documents for groundwater practitioners.

Our services include
- Groundwater impact assessments and management plans to support Environmental Impact Statements.
- Detailed conceptual and numerical groundwater models to support state-significant project approvals
- Design and implementation of monitoring networks for water quality, water resource modelling, and water resource planning
- Feasibility assessments and provision of cost-effective solutions for groundwater supply projects
- A range of hydrogeological fieldwork including design and installation of piezometers and vibrating wire piezometers, geological logging, bore development, groundwater sampling and monitoring and well performance and aquifer testing
- Baseline resource assessments and investigations
- Integrated hydrogeological interpretation
- Groundwater contamination assessments, include modelling of contaminates such as PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances)
