Hydrology
Our specialists in surface water engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, flood modelling, water resources, climate science, stormwater, sustainability, and environmental assessment apply a holistic approach to design, assessment and sustainable water management. They work with our clients to identify key development and operational risks, and design and implement cost effective water management measures in accordance with best practice and local legislation.
We have a successful record of working with planners, engineers, developers and regulators to deliver solutions in areas with sensitive water receptors or prone to drought or flood risk.
Overview
Surface water is an increasingly important global resource which is changing due to climate factors. A robust understanding of the hydrology and storm water environment should inform the design of infrastructure and any operational practices to reduce the risks water presents to a project, whilst minimising the impacts of a project on the flooding, flow and water quality conditions of an area.
We specialise in flood modelling and water balance modelling and our team are particularly experienced in the development of models to characterise unique environments and complex systems. We understand the importance of demonstrating sustainable water use and minimise impacts to the environment in planning, operations and closure. We offer excellent project services from pre-feasibility to the full scope of project management services.
