Overview
SLR is experienced in wastewater collection, pumping and treatment, and our team uses their scientific expertise to navigate complex regulatory issues including effluent toxicity modelling. We consider that the terminology “wastewater” covers a broad range of client concerns, from domestic municipal generated wastewater to site based generated liquid trade waste, including landfill site leachate and contaminated groundwater treatment incorporating mine affected water (pumping and treatment).
Our engineers also have expertise in water supply sourcing feasibility studies, treatment, pumping and storage. The identification of safe and reliable sources of water for domestic or industrial use is ever more challenging from an environmental, capacity, and regulatory point of view. As a result, investigation and design of appropriate water systems at the early point of any project are one of the most crucial steps in the planning process.
