Are you a Landscape Architect seeking your next opportunity within a forward thinking multidisciplinary consultancy, with a clear structured pathway and real opportunities for progression? SLR is seeking talented landscape architects at Senior grade (grades run from project to Senior, Associate, Principal and then Technical Director) to join its established Landscape team based in Nottingham, providing support to senior staff and helping to deliver LVIA, landscape design and landscape management for clients across a range of sectors including Built Environment, Minerals and Mining, and Power.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Landscape Discipline Manager the role would involve delivering a varied project workload, whilst providing guidance to more junior staff within the team.
Typical projects may include preparation of Landscape and Visual Assessments, discharging conditions and reserved matters, preparation of Vision documents, masterplanning, detailed hard and soft design and preparation of Landscape Management Plans.
You would be undertaking a range of diverse and challenging projects in support of the Directors and Principals including residential, mineral and mining and power developments. We would expect you to be interested in all areas of landscape work including landscape and visual assessment, design, implementation and landscape management.
PERSON SPEC – SUMMARY
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
• Landscape Architecture Degree and/or Postgraduate diploma, and either holding or working towards Chartered status.
• An understanding of landscape planning methodologies and experience at drafting related reports (skills in both technical report writing and in the preparation of graphic material are required).
• Experience of masterplanning and detailed hard and soft design.
• An effective and confident communicator (both written and oral) to a broad audience, with the ability to work collaboratively.
