Structural Dynamics

Structural dynamics uses experimental, analytical and computational methods for determining the response of structures to dynamic environments.  SLR has successfully solved complex vibration problems in a large range of industry sectors, including mining, buildings and transport infrastructure.

Our capabilities include advanced numerical modelling, the correlation of test results with modelling results, design services, fatigue assessments and in-situ dynamic testing of structures.  Our project experience covers a wide range of industry sectors and applications. Examples include coal-, iron ore- and tungsten-processing plants, mobile equipment, bridges, transportation systems, large generators at power stations and the design and installation of tuned mass dampers on tall buildings and pedestrian bridges.
