The results for LetsRecycle.com’s ‘35 under 35’ have been announced, and we’re proud to share that SLR’s Euan Munro is a finalist.

LetsRecycle.com's ‘35 under 35’ is a “community of young, talented professionals striving to improve the waste and recycling sector by embracing it's toughest questions and leading the industry towards a new horizon.”

More than 130 entries were whittled down by the judging panel to create the final list of only 35 successful candidates. From the list, the three top candidates will be crowned at the recognition ceremony in July.

Being shortlisted is a terrific achievement and real salute to Euan’s hard work, commitment, and contribution to the waste & recycling industry.

Euan, who is an Associate Process Engineer, based in SLR’s Edinburgh office, has a true drive for advancement, and has developed ‘outside-the-box’ waste strategies for sustainability driven organisations. Additionally, to help inspire the next generation, he manages training and chartership support for junior engineers.

Euan commented; “I am delighted to have been recognised by LetsRecyle.com for their 35 under 35 awards. I’ve been at SLR for almost five years, and it was initially a big transition from the world of making whisky and sugar. My colleagues at SLR have helped me to transfer my skills to the world of waste and recycling. I’ve found this incredibly rewarding supporting our clients in this sector and knowing that I’m doing my small bit to help the planet.”
