We are thrilled to be supporting the UK transition away from carbon-intensive energy sources to cleaner and greener alternatives. In recent years, SLR has grown its consenting team to provide extensive resources and expertise for the development and consent of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP).
Following our recent successful Development Consent Order (DCO) application for Awel y Môr and more on the horizon, we are seizing the opportunity to strengthen our capabilities and support for clients. With this in mind, we have appointed Mark Brown as our new Energy Infrastructure Lead.
[object Promise]Our primary focus is on facilitating the energy transition, particularly in wind energy and critical infrastructure to distribute hydrogen nationwide to meet our Net-Zero targets. This commitment aligns perfectly with our overarching goal of delivering sustainable solutions that contribute to a brighter and more environmentally friendly future.
Our collaborative effort, comprising key environmental topic leads and support functions, is primed to drive innovation and excellence. Recognising the crucial role of DCOs in our business strategy, we have proactively forged partnerships with other consultants and disciplines, including engineers and contractors.
DCO projects are inherently challenging, subject to intense scrutiny, demanding timelines, and risks, with wide-ranging impacts on energy security, reputation, and employee well-being. Therefore, it’s imperative that we get it right; the stakes are undeniably high.
[object Promise]SLR is driven by a commitment to delivering high-quality sustainability solutions and supporting the professional development and well-being of our staff. Our vision is clear: to lead the way in delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that leave a lasting, positive impact on the world.
We recognise that recruitment is needed to deliver the scale of change required to meet Net-Zero targets. We are casting the net wide to bring new skills and resources into our team, so please visit our Careers page, or proactively get in touch if you could be the right fit.
