Biography
Banda is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a decade of experience in acoustics, noise, and vibration research and consulting. Banda holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Architectural Acoustics, from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
His expertise traverses a multitude of sectors, encompassing residential, healthcare, education, and commercial domains, where he has navigated architectural acoustical design, precise sound measurement, and sophisticated prediction methodologies. His portfolio includes acoustic consultation on projects such as the Burnaby Hospital redevelopment, the Penticton Regional Hospital development, and various Vancouver Affordable Housing Agency projects.
Beyond his consulting endeavors, Banda is also a passionate speaker and educator. He actively presents seminars and training for other professionals and is an engineering and design instructor at the School of STEM at Capilano University.
