James Edwards

Biography

James is a Director and a confident transport modelling specialist with over 20 years experience in traffic modelling with specific expertise in the field of microsimulation modelling. He is experienced in the application of microsimulation across a range of projects; from junction design and scheme appraisals to impact assessment and mitigation strategies for SUEs and new settlements from 1,500 to 10,000 dwellings.

Through his public sector work James is adept at understanding the traffic modelling needs necessary to support development applications as well as appraisals, funding submissions and business cases to support scheme delivery.

James also provides traffic modelling support and expert evidence and Public Inquiry and Examination in Public. He is adept at presenting complex model outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and producing accompanying reports, technical notes and graphics to support projects of all sizes and scale.
