Rhian Thomas

Biography

Rhian is a Principal Planner and EIA Coordinator with over 16 years’ consulting experience in planning and regeneration work within the private and public sector. Broadly, her experience includes developing planning and regeneration, spatial planning, and plan representations, as well as preparing and managing applications for strategic developments including infrastructure, transport, housing, retail and leisure in order to deliver development.

Rhian is skilled in negotiating the planning process, working creatively to secure the optimal result; she works across development management, delivery and policy writing and monitoring. Rhian has extensive experience in community and stakeholder consultation, environmental assessment (including EIA and SEA), EIPs, inquiries and appeals, as well as evidence-based preparation and negotiation of legal agreements.
