Biography
Stephen is based in our Newcastle office and has over 15 years’ experience in environmental management, rehabilitation, mine closure and compliance within consulting, the mining industry and government.
Stephen works with clients to prepare internal rehabilitation process and quality control tools. He has significant practical rehabilitation experience within the mining industry, including project management of annual rehabilitation programs and has project managed, drafted and delivered many rehabilitation management plans prepared under the 2022 New South Wales rehabilitation reforms and prepared numerous rehabilitation strategies.
Stephen has worked as a regulator in NSW across assessments, post approval and policy, which involved assessing rehabilitation reports within Environmental Impact Statements of mining projects, reviewing and approving Mine Operations Plans and delivering resources and energy policy.
Stephen is accomplished in project delivery and providing an effective interface between a wide range of technical specialists, consultants, government, and community stakeholders.
