Air Quality Consultant, Brisbane

Due to exciting developments in our team, SLR is currently looking to recruit a Graduate to join us in the Brisbane Air Quality team.

Having experience in Air Quality work or a graduate with an interest in air quality and a relevant degree, the successful candidate will assist with dispersion modelling assessments of transport and industrial air quality, odour assessments, input into Environmental Impact Assessments. In addition you will have the opportunity to undertake site work collecting air quality and odour data. Suitable training would be provided.

The salary range for this role is between $55,000 to $69,000.


The Air Quality graduate will have duties that will include:

• Preparation of pollutant emission inventories.

• Dispersion modelling using dispersion modelling packages such as CALPUFF, CAL3QHCR and TAPM.

• Site work collecting air quality and odour data.

• Numerical data analysis elements (strong excel, linux and/or visual basic skills will be highly regarded).

• Preparation of reports (written and verbal communication skills need to be high quality).

• From time to time assisting other technical disciplines, such as the noise and hazardous material teams, as required.
