We are seeking a candidate who will be undertaking the role of a “GIS Champion” within SLR – increasing awareness with colleagues across the business of what GIS can offer and how this will benefit clients and project outcomes; with a view to expanding the internal workload undertaken.

SLR is also keen to diversify the technical expertise offered by its GIS team, and the new starter would also have a great opportunity to lead diversification into areas such as WebGIS and BIM.

There is a longer-term desire for the team to expand into actively targeting and winning external GIS work directly with clients, and therefore an aptitude for, or experience within business development would be useful.
