We provide global consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients.

Our Land Quality & Remediation team brings an unrivalled level of practical experience to solving our client's contaminated land management (CLM) issues and our reports are routinely accepted by funders and regulators as being robust and trustworthy.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Consultant to join us in the Land Quality and Remediation team. You will be based in our Melbourne office and work closely with our senior team including a contaminated site auditor and his audit support specialists comprising principal level hydrogeologist, risk assessment/toxicology, chemist and remediation engineer to deliver quality contaminated land advisory and audit services to our clients.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful candidate will ideally have 2-3 years' of experience and be self-motivated, articulate and reliable. With a passion for land quality, earth sciences or civil / environmental engineering, you will work with likeminded individuals, whilst enjoying excellent career opportunities across a range of industry sectors. As a self-starter, you will enjoy undertaking project work with strong field work and reporting experience.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or Master's degree)
  • 2-3 years' relevant CLM work experience is desired within a consultancy environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven report writing skills, high computer literacy and data analyst skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and has the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent driving history and hold a current driver's license
  • Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia
