Our Land Quality & Remediation team brings an unrivalled level of practical experience to solving our client's contaminated land management issues and our reports are routinely accepted by funders and regulators as being robust and trustworthy.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Consultant to join us in the Land Quality and Remediation team. You will be based in our Melbourne office and work closely with our senior team including a contaminated site auditor and his audit support specialists comprising principal level hydrogeologist, risk assessment/toxicology, chemist and remediation engineer to deliver quality contaminated land advisory and audit services to our clients.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful candidate will ideally have 3-6 years' of experience and be self-motivated, articulate and reliable. With a passion for contaminated land management, earth sciences or civil / environmental engineering, you will work with likeminded individuals, whilst enjoying excellent career opportunities across a range of industry sectors. As a self-starter, you will be able to display confidence and high level project management, tenders/proposals preparation, reporting as well as undertake field work.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or Master's degree)
- 3-6 years' relevant work experience is desired within a contaminated land consulting industry
- Proven Project Management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven report writing skills, high computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and has the ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent driving history and hold a current driver's license
- Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia
