SLR Acquires Responsible Mining Solutions

We are pleased to announce that Responsible Mining Solutions Corp. (RMS) has been acquired by SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd. (SLR) as of January 31, 2025.

SLR is part of a global, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy, with a team of over 4,000 professionals providing expert advice and support through a network of offices across Canada, the United States, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Africa. SLR serves a diverse and expanding client base, including businesses, regulatory bodies, and government agencies, offering solutions for a wide range of strategic and project-specific challenges. SLR’s expertise spans the built environment, industry, infrastructure, mining and minerals, as well as the energy, power, and renewables sectors.

RMS’ experience and services are key elements in supporting the global standard of Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM), an initiative aimed at helping companies manage key environmental and social risks which aligns with SLR’s broader commitment to delivering comprehensive ESG services. The addition of RMS to the SLR team represents another significant step in building our capabilities and industry profile, while also reinforcing our integrated mine waste engineering expertise in Canada and globally.
