Biography

Andrew Simpson holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Climatology & Atmospheric Science obtained from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal. Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in a combination of academia and professional consulting, including comprehensive experience in air quality and environmental noise monitoring. He led the Atmospheric Sector on two State of Environment Reports, contributed to the National State of the Air Report, and completed numerous air quality and environmental noise assessments for major industrial, mining, and transportation clients, whilst working closely with local and provincial authorities to achieve compliance.
