Derek Benton

Biography

Derek has been working at SLR since August 2022 as SLR’s Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion [DEI] Manager, with lead responsibility for all of SLR’s DEI programmes globally and across the regions.

Derek has over 25 years of experience working in Professional Services, of which the last 15 years have been spent in HR & DEI roles. Prior to joining SLR, Derek worked for IBM, Boston Consulting Group & KPMG, and also ran his own DEI consultancy. Derek has a Music degree from Manchester University and qualified as a Barrister from BPP Law School.
