Biography
With 20 years’ experience in providing civil engineering design from conception to completion, Jakub leads the Bristol engineering team.
He has extensive experience including the design and construction of new roads, highways improvements and development-related highway access infrastructure, as well as infrastructure related to residential, commercial and retail developments, including drainage infrastructure and SUDS.
Primarily, his day-to-day role involves project management of numerous schemes, which includes delivery of design projects as a team leader and developing strategies leading to planning applications and / or construction. The role also involves significant client and design team liaison, working with co-professionals in the preparation of large multi-disciplinary tenders, fee proposals and programmes, financial control of projects and undertaking business development and resource / financial planning.
Jakub has an MSc Eng in Civil Engineering and he is a Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
In his free time Jakub enjoys being at the gym or outdoors, spending time in his garden and walking the dog. He loves the mountains, he enjoys snowboarding and mountaineering. A good book and his headphones to listen to his favourite music are always in close reach.
