Natasha Joynson

Biography

Natasha is based in our Mackay office with 22 years’ experience as a geotechnical engineer, geologist, and geophysicist on a range of minor and major projects within Australia.She has undertaken detailed design of regulated dams and levees at mine sites in the Bowen Basin, as well as developed technical specifications and operations plans for those structures.

Natasha has been involved in site investigation works for annual Consequence Risk Assessments for a number of dams in Queensland.Her responsibilities included supervision of drilling programs and structural geological mapping of rock exposures in spillway return channels to inform scour assessments and remedial designs.

Natasha has worked as Geotechnical Lead on a number of projects where her responsibilities included preparation of the geotechnical design briefs, client interface, management of the design team as well as undertaking geotechnical design, deliverables, and quality.

Natasha is currently working on design of capping systems for tailings dams on mine sites and annual inspection and auditing of regulated water storage structures on mine sites.
