Biography
Ryan Werffeli is Head of LP Partnerships at Malk Partners, a leading consulting firm specializing in ESG and Impact Advisory for private markets, now part of the responsible finance division at SLR. Over the past seven years, Ryan played a pivotal role in leading the firms day-to-day consulting services, scaling the firm’s headcount by 10x and achieving its successful sale to SLR in 2024.
Ryan has deep experience building ESG programs for over 150 General Partners (GPs). After seven years advising GPs, he’s taken on a new role helping Limited Partners (LPs) better assess and drive responsible investment across their portfolios. His work spans manager diligence, ESG strategy development, engagement support, and training, reporting, and framework alignment. He is known for his commercial approach and focus on transforming ESG reporting from a compliance task into a source of differentiation and value creation.
