Water & Wastewater Engineering

Providing clean and ample water to domestic and industrial users is complex and often critical to the basic feasibility of a project. Similarly, proper handling of domestic and industrial wastewater is challenging both technically and from a regulatory perspective.

SLR helps our clients make informed, cost effective decisions early in the project design cycle for both water and wastewater systems, through permitting, project construction, startup, commissioning, and continued operations support and troubleshooting.

Overview

SLR is experienced in wastewater collection, pumping and treatment, and our team uses their scientific expertise to navigate complex regulatory issues including effluent toxicity modelling.

Our engineers have expertise in water supply development, treatment, pumping and storage. The identification of safe and reliable sources of water for domestic or industrial use is ever more challenging from an environmental, capacity, and regulatory point of view. As a result, investigation and design of appropriate water and wastewater systems at the early point of any project is one of the most crucial steps in the planning process.

SLR’s continued direction to ensure proper construction, operations, regulatory compliance, and troubleshooting complements the early project steps to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.
