SLR acquires Optimised Environments (OPEN)

We’re delighted to share the news that SLR has acquired Optimised Environments (OPEN), bringing together market leading capabilities in the natural and built environment.

OPEN is an integrated design practice with a 50+ person team whose collective skills and experience will enhance significantly SLR’s offer to clients across a wide range of renewable energy, urban and rural projects and situations, embracing the cultural, environmental and economic context.

Their skills in masterplanning, landscape architecture, landscape planning, urban design and architecture will complement the advice and services across the sustainability and environmental spectrum that SLR already delivers to its clients, particularly in the built environment and power sectors.

Neil Penhall, SLR’s Chief Executive said “I am delighted to welcome the OPEN team into SLR.
