Adriano Carneiro

Biography

Adriano has over 25 years’ experience on mine sites across Brazil, Zambia, Australia, and Egypt. He has worked in a range of roles including as a project manager, operations manager, project engineer, and mine planning engineer, and has worked in consulting for the last 12 years. He has experience with a variety of feasibility studies, trade-offs, short, medium and long-term scheduling, strategic mine plans, equipment sizing and requirements, due diligences, reserves sign-offs, and technical and operational support.

Adriano has a strong understanding of mining operations including pre-stripping, mine production, and crushing and heap leaching. He also possesses competencies in mine planning such as mine scheduling, ore blending, and mine design for various commodities including hard rock lithium, gold, copper, nickel, bauxite, potash, iron ore, niobium, polymetallic, the cement industry, calcite, and dolomite, from projects in South America, Africa, North America, Europe, and Australia. He is a recognised Competent Person and Qualified for Mineral Reporting in mineral / ore reserve assessments to international reporting standards.
