Ian Andrews

Biography

Ian is a Technical Director in the Process Engineering team, and has over 40 years of experience in wastewater treatment, specialising in the treatment and disposal of industrial wastewaters. Initially this experience was gained as a Trade Effluent Manager with Yorkshire Water Services, where Ian was responsible for delivering the Trade Effluent strategy for the city of Kingston upon Hull and the Yorkshire coastline prior to implementation of the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive. Subsequently, Ian used this experience to become an independent industrial effluent specialist assisting a wide range of clients with wastewater issues, a role he successfully undertook for a period of 8 years before joining SLR in 2005.
