Biography
Lisa is a creative and motivated GIS Professional with over 14 years of experience in geospatial data management, cartography, spatial analysis, 3D modelling and visualisation. Lisa graduated from Edinburgh University with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Geography and MSc in GIS. Previous roles include GIS Coordinator at the City of Edinburgh Council and GIS Specialist at EDAW Edinburgh. At SLR Lisa coordinates the GIS requirements of clients and staff members across three offices in the UK. She is responsible for spatial data licensing, management, GIS service promotion and provision of technical training, support and advice to all spatial data users.
Since joining SLR, Lisa has continued to add value to a number of landscape, masterplanning and urban design projects. She has contributed to a broad range of feasibility studies, site appraisals, and landscape visual impact assessments for onshore wind (Kilgallioch, Limekiln), offshore wind (East Anglia 1, 2 & 3, Norfolk Vanguard, Moray East), hydro (Glenmuchkloch Pumped Storage Hydro), solar (Outwood Farm), commercial, retail and housing developments (River Street in Manchester). Specialising in 3D visualisation, Lisa has also been involved in townscape visual impact assessments for sensitive sites such as the Donaldson’s School Redevelopment and proposed St Mary’s Music School at the former Royal High School site in Edinburgh.
