Kellye (Larsen) Dundon Elected as Oregon Chapter Chair of the Air & Waste Management Association
SLR’s Kellye (Larsen) Dundon, Associate Scientist, was elected to serve as Chair of the Oregon Chapter of Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA). Kellye has previously served as the Vice Chair since 2017 and has also served as chapter Secretary from 2013 to 2017. Kellye began her career over 8 years ago and specializes in air quality and transportation acoustics. For air quality, she is experienced in regulatory compliance, permitting, emission inventories, greenhouse gas reporting and Cleaner Air Oregon. For transportation acoustics, she has measured existing noise levels and predicted future noise impacts for proposed highway projects in the state of Oregon, as well as analysed and designed noise mitigation measures, such as barriers.
“As Chair, I’m excited to contribute my efforts to the association and take purposeful action to increase member participation and continue to provide meaningful and educational events for professionals in this region,” said Dundon.
SLR staff members also participate in various chapters throughout the U.S. A&WMA is a nonprofit organization that advances the exchange of ideas, professional development, networking opportunities, education, and outreach.
