Shane is experienced in environmental, transportation and industrial noise monitoring, prediction, assessment and control. He has had extensive involvement in a large number of strategically significant infrastructure projects requiring varying degrees of community consultation and has also presented as an expert witness.
Stewart Lenton(EUR) Close
Stewart is a Technical Director with SLR and has over 25 years experience within the Minerals sector, both in a senior management position within the minerals industry and as an experienced consultant within SLR Consulting Limited. Stewart has managed a wide range of major Environmental Impact Assessment projects for major minerals developments throughout the UK for many of the major operators within the minerals industry, including both greenfield developments and extensions to existing operations. In addition to this he advises clients on a wide range of commercial negotiations, and property related matters, including advising on sale and purchase transactions, lease negotiations, due diligence, compensation and other estates management issues.
Nigel Taylor(CAD) Close
Nigel has worked in the environmental field for 26 years, in research, industry and consulting, with a career focus of understanding the energy and land development sectors and how they interact with the environment. Nigel has technical expertise in environmental air quality and extensive experience working with a variety of technical disciplines including air quality, acoustics, and ecology. This together with his previous operational experience, Nigel is a strong addition to leadership to our Canadian ESS team.
Tim Desselles(US) Close
Mr. Desselles has 16 years’ experience in environmental permitting and compliance with a focus on industrial facilities and major capital projects in a variety of industries, including iron and steel, synthetic organic chemicals, liquefied natural gas, petroleum refining, inorganic chemicals, power generation, and carbon black manufacturing. Tim’s work has had a particular emphasis on the development of greenfield capital projects and major facility expansions, including multi-media environmental assessments and licensing, PSD/NNSR and Title V air quality permitting, environmental impact assessments, agency negotiations, social performance, and regulatory compliance systems development.
Tim has directed the preparation of initial permit applications and significant modifications for major source Title V and PSD permits, developed and audited environmental compliance management systems, investigated emissions and discharge concerns, assisted clients with selecting appropriate environmental control technologies and negotiating vendors, and provided litigation support in defense of permits and enforcement actions. In 2011, he obtained the first-ever PSD permit issued in the U.S. for emissions of greenhouse gases (Nucor Steel Louisiana).
Rob Hounsome has more than 20 years’ experience as a leader responsible for operational and strategic leadership of consulting businesses across multiple offices and engineering and scientific disciplines.
He has specific experience of environmental management requirements of mining, oil and gas and manufacturing/industrial development of associated issues ranging from those affecting biodiversity and social impacts through to waste and water management, control on air and noise and emergency response planning.
