SLR set to make a noise in Auckland
Leading environmental consultancy, SLR Consulting has this week announced the appointment of Peter Runcie as Associate Consultant in the Acoustics and Vibration team.
Peter has 9 years’ experience in working on projects in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the Middle East across the commercial, residential, healthcare and educational sectors.
Peter's experience encompasses a wide range of projects from planning applications for single items of plant through to large scale EIAs for mixed use developments; from inception through to completion, commissioning and peer review. He also has extensive experience in building acoustics providing advice to ensure both occupier comfort and compliance with local standards for residential, commercial, educational and leisure developments.
Prior to joining SLR, Peter held various positions with most recently Golder Associates in Auckland and prior to that Hilson Moran in the UK.
Regarding his move to SLR, Peter commented: "I am looking forward to building SLR’s presence in acoustics and other disciplines in New Zealand. My aim is to provide clients with an acoustic consultancy team capable of delivering high quality, easy to understand and timely technical advice. I am also very excited about being able to introduce new and existing clients to the additional range of highly specialised acoustic services that SLR can provide in New Zealand drawing on our global team."
