SLR interviewed on Irish household waste decisions
Posted: October 04, 2018 /
SLR’s Conor Walsh was out and about last week taking part in a couple of radio and TV interviews in his role as Secretary of the Irish Waste Management Association (IWMA). During these interviews, Conor was speaking in response to a report published by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC). IWMA members are opposed to propositions made by the CCPC to implement competitive tendering in the household waste sector in Ireland; instead they believe the status quo delivers good prices good service and good performance with regards to EU targets and therefore should be protected.
