SLR Welcomes Todd Lusk to SLR’s Water and Wastewater Team
Senior Engineer Todd Lusk has recently joined SLR with expertise in industrial wastewater engineering via our new office located in Florence, Kentucky. He brings over 16 years of experience in treatability investigations, wastewater technology evaluations, biological wastewater treatment, water efficiency evaluations, wastewater operations troubleshooting, and microscopic biomass assessments for a range of industries including petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and steel.
“The addition of Todd’s design and technical expertise to our water and wastewater team are key elements to our continued growth,” noted D’Ann Wilkins, Managing Principal. “His experience will allow SLR to continue to deliver high quality projects that demonstrate innovative designs and technical excellence.”
After receiving his master’s degree in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University, Mr. Lusk launched his career at an engineering consulting firm in Tennessee before serving as a lead engineer on multiple wastewater design projects for industrial facilities in the U.S. and abroad. He eventually moved to Kentucky, where he worked as a project manager on wastewater projects within the Oil & Gas and Industry business sectors.
Mr. Lusk recently served as a volunteer in an elementary school’s STEM Club, a program for K-5 students that provides enrichment sessions on various science and engineering topics. In keeping at the forefront of wastewater treatment technology, and to provide the highest quality service to his clients, Lusk has continued his study of optimum technologies for wastewater treatments, including his emphasis on water efficiency evaluations.
